Shelley Sands CSW
Shelley Sands is a Certified Social Worker at Cedar Ridge Child & Family Counseling. She graduated from the University of Wyoming, Social Work program in 2012, and went on to obtain her Certified Social Worker certification in 2016. She enjoys working with a variety of clients, adults, adolescents, and children, with interests including, but not limited to : depression, anxiety, grief & loss, relationship struggles, anger management, self- esteem, play therapy, and case management. Her focus is on a person centered and strength based approach with clients, and encourage clients to take an active role in their treatment. 

​Karen Olsen, MSW, CSW
Karen Olsen is Certified Social Worker. She currently works with children, adolescents, and their families who have social, emotional, or behavioral health concerns. She works closely with community agencies and schools to serve at-risk youth and their families to address behavioral concerns and establish stabilization in the home and school environment. Karen also has experience in treating substance abuse disorders.

Melinda Schweda, PLC
Melinda "Lindy" Schweda is a Provisionally Licensed Counselor. She currently works with all age groups who are dealing with anxiety, depression, attentional and behavioral concerns, and family issues. Lindy focuses on using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Cecilia Stark, MSW, PCSW
Cecilia is a Provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Walla Walla University. She is passionate about working with individuals of all ages from early childhood to adulthood. Cecilia’s previous mental health treatment experience includes work with incarcerated women and men, acute psychiatric inpatient care and community mental health settings working with both children and adults. Cecilia is a certified forensic interviewer and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is currently pursuing certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and registration as a play therapist. She specializes in working with children and adults who have experienced trauma, childhood sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, adjustment problems, life changes/stressors and parent/child relationship difficulties.

Cecilia uses a person-centered approach which means that she works collaboratively with you so that you can live your best life, taking into account the entirety of who you are and what your  needs are. It is also a strengths-based approach in which you are the expert on your own life.
